Training is offered in several formats, including online or in-person sessions, as well as 1-hour, 3-hour, or full-day sessions perfect for away days.

Evenbreak is a CPD-accredited training organisation.

Our core sessions include:

  • Disability Inclusion

  • Neurodiversity Inclusion

  • Inclusive Recruitment

  • Inclusive Management

  • Workplace Adjustments

Here’s what our clients have to say:

“Jane and Mahomed at Evenbreak ran a top tips session for inclusive hiring as part of our activity for International Day of People with Disabilities. The session was just what our audience needed – clear and concise with tangible actions that everyone could take away. The session received great feedback and is definitely something we will use again to continually nudge hiring managers and to remind colleagues about the big impact that small actions have when it comes to inclusion.”

Claire Mayday, Marks and Spencer

Our approach to training is wrap-around, with workshop session content supported by a resource pack with additional activities, pre- and post-session content, and a slide-by-slide breakdown.
Our 1-hour webinars provide a bitesize way to engage larger audiences with topics and include slide decks and a list of resources.

Don’t see the session you are looking for? We are also able to provide bespoke training on request and work with you to co-create a session for your team.

Consultancy

Training, Consultancy, and Speaking 3

Advertising roles and welcoming disabled applicants is only the first step. Ensuring that the processes and site is accessible, inclusive and barrier-free is fundamental to ensuring that disabled candidates are able to apply for your roles.

Evenbreak provides a range of specialist consultancy services and is uniquely placed to support organisations with developing their processes and practices to enable disabled team members to thrive.

Our consultancy services aim to highlight existing areas of strength in process and practice as well as areas for development.

We offer three fundamental consultancy services: inclusive recruitment review, workplace adjustment review and building auditing. All our audits include a comprehensive report with detailed and actionable recommendations as well as an implementation and feedback meeting to explore changes in more detail and enable you to implement best practices with our ongoing support.

Inclusive Recruitment Review

Our recruitment review explores your process, looking at successes and hidden barriers or biases. The process is tailored to each organisation to allow for an expansive look at your policies, practices and individual experiences. We typically analyse:

  • Job descriptions and adverts: exploring language and structure

  • Posting platforms: assessing reach and representation

  • Application methods: inclusivity and assistive technology compatibility

  • Interview and hiring practices: assessing equity in the assessment process

Workplace Adjustments Review

Workplace adjustments enable individuals to conduct their roles effectively and to thrive at work. Our workplace adjustment review assesses your current process, what’s working and highlights areas for improvement.

We evaluate:

  • Accessibility: specific barriers in day-to-day workplace activities

  • Policies and processes: effectiveness, awareness, suitability for your organisation and feedback from staff who have accessed adjustments

  • Communication: openness and support for requesting and implementing adjustments

  • Manager awareness: capacity to identify and address needs and signpost to support

Building Accessibility Audit

Ensure that your physical space or office space welcomes everyone through conducting an accessibility audit. We assess for a range of different barriers across several key access themes including:

  • Physical access

  • Sensory access including visual, auditory and cognitive

  • Information and communication, including signage, documentation and public information

Our experienced team have conducted audits globally across a range of spaces including offices, factories and multi-purpose buildings.

Here’s what our clients have to say:

“When reviewing our recruitment practice, Evenbreak provided challenge, insight and recommendations that stems from diverse lived experience and expertise. This is a real differentiator for us.”

Mark Ealing, VP Diversity Equity Inclusion, Ultra

Reviews utilise multiple methods of data collection including staff interviews, focus groups, feedback opportunities, policy and documentation assessments. This approach, combined with the expertise and lived experience of the consulting team enables us to provide you with meaningful feedback and tangible actions to implement.
